Into the Woods

(Book by James Lapine, Music and Lyrics by Stephen
Sondheim)
This Tony Award-winning musical is a
hilarious retelling of the fairy tale stories of the Brothers Grimm — a
princess who must run at midnight and loses her shoe, a boy and his
beanstalk, and that little girl in the red cloak on her way to
grandmother's house — in a musical that explores both the whimsy of
wishing and the darker side of the forest. It follows the story of a
childless couple who embark on a fairy tale romp in search of relief from
a curse which has kept the stork from visiting them.
INTO THE WOODS is appealing to people of all ages and interests
with its witty catchy music, and dramatic fairy tale narrative.

Where
did Santa Claus come from? There are many stories that tell of his life,
but the delightful version relayed in this new adaptation is by far the
most charming and original of all. Only L. Frank Baum, the man who created
the wonderful land of Oz, could have told Santa's tale in such rich and
imaginative detail. From his
humble beginnings in an enchanted forest of mythical creatures to his toy
deliveries to all the world's children, this production is a must see for
all ages. Adults will love the
beautiful, lyric language and stylized costumes and choreography.
Kid’s will love the fun characters, story, and of course Santa!
